Toledo Cemetery Association now offers headstones by OM Stone

 A member of our board is available to assist families who wish to honor their loved ones with a granite headstone. We work with OM Stone located in Hillsboro, OR. They do beautiful granite work and will create a headstone of your design, deliver it, and professionally install it in cooperation with our volunteer. While OM Stone does not work with the public, Toledo Cemetery is an authorized representative.

The process can be done, start to finish, remotely from wherever you are by email and an occasional phone call, or in person. You will see a digital image of your design idea and be able to change, add, subtract any detail through a progression of three proofs. And OM Stone has a large inventory of design ideas, emblems, fonts, and styles to get you started.

The price of a headstone is based on the type of granite and the size and style of the headstone; all design and engraving work is included in the price. The price will be estimated after our first conversation. A headstone takes a minimum of 6 weeks to create and deliver.

To begin with, look through the pages of designs and details we have here. It is not a complete inventory, but you are likely to see something that will help you begin.

Information we will need to get started:

• Full name of deceased
• Date of birth & Date of death (consider if you want only the years or the full dates)
• Epitaph (optional)

Things we will discuss together:

• Headstone style and size
• Granite choice (the different granites vary in price and availability)
• Design ideas / Emblem choices / Fonts
